What does Heaven look like?

Today for church school, the project was to draw/paint a picture of what you think heaven looks like. Here is Isaac's picture. I am sure you can pick out the sun, rainbow and grass. He added blue for the sky. The yellow dots are stars. The colored dots are bubbles. And, oh yeah, the big brown/gray spots under the rainbow?

Yup, it is a mud puddle...

oh, and by the way this is what Isaac was wearing at church this morning....

He is such a boy!

Easter weekend.

We had such a great weekend. My sister and her son came to visit. My parents also came for the weekend. Here are some pics from the holiday.

Isaac and his cousin colored eggs...

Here they are checking out their Easter baskets...

Here is Isaac looking for eggs...

Spring

It has been so nice out lately. We have been able to play outside almost every day. I love this picture of Isaac. It was so nice out that day. But with all the snow we got this winter we still had a pile of snow to play in.

Look, you can see the swings, it must be spring...

This is what our yard looked like in December....

Spring?

Isaac decided that he would really like it to be "spring outside, not just on the calendar!" Hopefully it will be coming soon...

Easter

A conversation in my house the other day...

Todd: Isaac, Easter is coming. That means it will be spring soon.

Isaac: Actually, Dad, Easter is when Jesus came back to life and colored eggs.

And here I have always wondered where the whole egg dying came from...

Fabulous

Today while I was dusting the screen on our bathroom window, the screen tore a little bit. So I say, "Fabulous!" Isaac then explains to me that it was not "actually fabulous, Mom, because fabulous means really good or great." Then he walks away, shaking his head.
